A Review of the book, "Elizabeth: The Virgin Queen and The Men Who Loved Her" by Author, Robert Stephen Parry
I highly recommend this book. It blends Tudor fiction with non fiction very effectively. Elizabeth: The Virgin Queen and The Men Who Loved Her is a series of biographical sketches from the Elizabethan Court. With a brief history, the book details Elizabeth's life very effectively. It also explains the qualities of an Elizabethan Courtier and in a very interesting & extremely effective way, discusses if Elizabeth really was a virgin queen. It too, was extremely enjoyable to read about the men who loved and served their Queen. This is a must read!
