  1. Simply put, the Plantaganet and Tudor Chronicles are both useful books in their own right, rich with intrepid and well researched detail. They do, however, lack anything in real historical theory in my opinion. This doesn't mean you shouldn't read them,as they are good books (also read the Borgias by Mary Hollingsworh, of the same series), just quite possibly better for fact referencing, from an academic point of view.
