I started this thread (above) a few weeks ago on http://www.thetudorswiki.com and received 20 comments. It went a little off topic as some individuals discussed the film "Anonymous", which is perfectly fine. I wanted to raise this question on my blog as I am curious to read your opinions.
I'll start off here with my opinion. The four that come to mind are Cate Blanchett, Ann-Marie Duff, Helen Mirren, & Glenda Jackson. Of them all, I believe Cate Blanchett did the best job. It was not the best movie of Elizabeth but I believe she portrayed Elizabeth beautifully.
Now you provide your opinions! I'm so curious to read them!!!!
